The Surfer's Path

Editorial Guidelines

Hello, I'm Alex, I'm the new editor here at TSP, not the original Alex I'm afraid not quite as great as that, but I am going to be the custodean of The Path as we move from a magazine format to a hard backed journal.

We are always looking for stories and photographs, we want atleast 25% of each journal to tell your stories, that's really important to us and to create a truely democratic journal about surfing from our perspective. I will add to these guidelines as we go, but to start with here are a couple -

- If you have written a great story, travel, experience or on any surf related subject please feel free to send direct to me - [email protected]. You don't need to have written anything before and it can be in any state, I can help craft it into something or print as is.

- If you have photos to go with it, from an iPhone or pro DSLR send those as well. This is often quite tricky, but we really like to run images showing your story, and if we need to find some surf or landscape images to help make the feature more rounded we will do so.

- If you're an up and coming photog, we'd  love to tell your story and run shots.

We will pay for anything, we are sorting rates out at the moment, it won't make you rich I'm afraid, but we will pay you a fair word rate and image rate.
